👋🏽With my taller athletes or basketball players, I like to have them use trap bar deadlifts and get good with them before moving to a barbell. It’s a little bit easier for for hinging at the hips because the handle sits a little bit higher than they would with a barbell. And often times, form gets compromised.

☝🏽Real quick, another way this exercise can get approved is by focusing on something 6 feet in front of you in order for your neck to stay neutral.
