Sunday Mom and I had the honor of reuniting with a special soul; Jen from Town and Country K9 rescue.
Jen and my Mom connected on Facebook a few years ago after Jen posted about a “Callie” they had at their rescue who resembled me. Mom commented on the post regarding how similar they looked only to find out that Jen was a volunteer at Yonkers Animal Shelter while I was there - and she was the woman hugging me in the very first picture my Mom ever saw of me! Needless to say, Jen was someone that I connected with while I was at Yonkers Animal Shelter. My Mom says thank you to Jen for being there for me during my time at the shelter. Things may have turned out very different for me had I not had amazing people such as yourself, the wonderful volunteers and staff at YAS, as well as the wonderful Chrissy (my Foster Mom) looking out for me during the summer of 2014.
Every person in the rescue community is important and vital in getting dogs placed in their forever homes. Thank you to each and every one of you. ❤️#adoptdontshop
