The family and I tried to hike up to Three Island Lake in Mount Zirkel Wilderness but when we started to get to the top of the mountain at the end of our hike the snow got too deep and we lost the trail to finish the last half mile. It was a little disappointing but we still had a fun 5.5 mile hike. •

It was so wild starting at the bottom where it was hot and dry and hiking up to in places 3ft of snow at the top of the mountain. 🙌•
