A friend of mine, a teacher in California, unexpectedly saw my name in an essay one of his students wrote. He was kind enough to send me a photo of the essay. My life’s work has always been focused on mentoring kids, pushing them to go for plan A, letting them know that they are too talented to even consider settling for a plan B. This essay made me cray like a baby.
