You’ll smell the #Essaouira #fishmarket before you can see it - this is a frenzied spot in an otherwise calm #seasidetown, with #fishermen shouting about their wares to drown out the squabbling of the seagulls and the hammering of the boatbuilders. The cats are the quiet ones, sated as they are with the copious fish guts strewn on the boardwalk. I’m smiling so sweetly in the last photo because this was after one of the aforementioned birds pooped on Leo 😸
