(1) These solstices and retrogrades take us down memory lane and I tell you it’s not a pleasurable one. The spiral movements of life give us chances to let go of our hang ups. This is our chance to release what no longer serves us. Notice the disappearances from our lives of those who are not our people. Also, notice the magnificent beginning of a new life chapter.
It gets me time and time again, but always less judgmental than the last. Two things can happen: we either spiral down and drown in anger or we heal. The thing about these phases is, no one will be there to choose for you. You save yourself. Your life, your choice. Feeling angry in the dark, asking myself if it was the solar wind that’s keeping me awake or was it the planetary retrograde? It’s definitely the unresolved anger. Who am I kidding? One good thing, and a very important one, is that this time it’s less bitter than the last. Probably even less that I was able to sleep after a while. I am actually confident that I am moving on very soon. So, bring it on!

You see, each memory of anger (with moments of wanting to look for a face to land a fist on!), is a release. Each day one can only hope for a lesser rage until it is gone. But, don’t be fooled. Life is ultimately about learning lessons indefinitely. As you end this one, another begins. As humans, we have to take the ride and figure out the whole journey until we arrive at our destination—where we begin to observe the observer.

When you are reminded of your past issues, you go ahead with remembering the feeling. Take the time to pause and acknowledge its presence. Although, there is a thin line between drowning with the issue and transcending it, I invite you to do the latter. It is hard, but trying to escape or ignoring the issue will only make the wound deeper. Continued...👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
