Right now, there’s someone somewhere talking about you— make the conversation worthwhile. The things you don’t want associated with your name/legacy, stop doing them. When folks talk about you it should be for something positive. We can’t control what people say about us, but we do control how we live. Your reputation should be your only defense for gossipers and haters.

In Genesis 10, we read about Nimrod, Noah’s great-grandson. Nimrod, according to the Bible was known for his great hunting skills. Because he was great at hunting, people would say, “Like Nimrod”, to other great hunters.

Ask yourself, “When others talk about me, what do I want them to say?” Whatever your answer, I pray it’s for something worthy and good.
