One of my favorite anti-aging superfoods that will keep your skin glowing from the inside out is #watercress In fact, this nutrient dense, hydrating super green is not only a great source of vitamins A, C, K, B-1 and B-2, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and manganese but has been proven to kill #cancer cells.  According to the #CDC watercress is the single best #superfood known to man!  Watercress contains more vitamin C than an orange 🍊 , more calcium than milk 🥛and more folate than a 🍌 The antioxidants in watercress help to neutralize harmful free radicals which is one of the main causes of fine lines and wrinkles. 👵🏻

My favorite way to eat watercress is in a salad. 🥗 I love the watercress citrus and avocado 🥑salad with turmeric dressing from @feastingathome Start incorporating this into your diet at least twice a week and get ready for glowing skin!✨✨✨

INGREDIENTS:
1 Avocado cut into wedges
2 oz. Organic baby watercress
1 tablespoon organic orange zest
Orange segments
Thinly sliced red onion
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
DRESSING:
2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp maple syrup
2 tablespoons meyer lemon or lime juice
1 tsp turmeric
Salt & Pepper to taste
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add watercress, orange zest and onion to a salad bowl and toss with the dressing.  Place orange and avocado segments on top of the salad to avoid mashing up the avocado and orange segments.  Enjoy!  Serves 2
