Recipe testing my Indian version of Swedish meatballs for an exciting event I’m participating in with @keylacooks @casabrasilpgh and the Yale Club of Pittsburgh. Using blended leeks in the meatballs gives the pork a sweetness while the crushed cardamom connects this to it’s Swedish roots. The creamy gravy gets a deep flavor from my signature Jalsa spice mix which has cinnamon, clove, mace, coriander, and cumin among many other spices. I am serving it with a coconut, ginger, leek rice that’s super quick to make right in the rice cooker. I love combining the flavors of the very different foods I love to create something unique and delicious!
