Eid Mubarak to all of my beautiful Muslim friends celebrating today!! I find beauty in so many of the worlds religions and Ramadan is one. What it represents is beautiful and although I myself do not practice it, I think it’s a wonderful means of spiritual reflection. This cake was made for a dear friend of the family who is celebrating today. It’s a mix of water color and textured buttercream cake with layers of soft vanilla bean cake filled with vanilla bean frosting, fresh strawberry jam and strawberries.
