Here are some great ways to do so πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
1️⃣ Multi Hip Swing Machine
OBSESSED with this machine πŸ˜©πŸ™ŒπŸΌ! Multiple ways to train your hips/glutes on this machine but here is how I utilize it. I prefer the padding to hit below my knee. I then allow my bent knee to travel to the highest point possible creating a major stretch before recruiting my medius muscle to drive the padding downwards and into a minimal lateral lift. You can see I am not laterally swinging and abducting my leg very high. Again, I want to focus on my medius muscle moving the stack of weight within the deepest stretch possible. MAJOR PRO TIP πŸ˜‰
2️⃣ Abductor Machine
Pretty sure every fit chick on IG has posted about this machine and there’s a darn good reason for it- IT IS FANTASTIC! I begin with going as heavy as possible for 5 reps w/ butt off the seat (normally can move the entire stack but yah girl is fitting a cold 😷). I then drop the butt down and finish the rest of my reps seated with CONTROLLL. There should be no slamming of the legs shut. You control the weight with your medius muscle, it should not be controlling you πŸ™…πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ.
3️⃣ Abductor Machine
I am doing one and a half reps. The half rep can also be called a pulse. Your glutes should be hot πŸ₯΅ after this set πŸ”₯!!
4️⃣ Glute Machine
I have shown this machine before performing a kick-back (Hip Extension) but this time I have turned my body to the side.
