I used to joke about stock photos of “bloggers” with their MacBook, glasses, and cup of black coffee on their pristine white plush comforters. I mean really, who sets coffee on white blankets? My husband won’t even let me get a white blanket.

Anyways. It all seemed so unrealistic and perfect to me. I love a nice clean organized space as much as the next type A person, but when type B decides to shine through, things can get a little messy.

While I would love to say my workplace is always this serene, you should know there are usually hot wheels being driven across my desk while my two year old grabs my arm with his raptor claws, “Excuse me! Excuse me!”

Still, it’s my home. It’s where creativity can flow. It’s where business can be finalized. And I wouldn’t trade it for the world… or a white comforter. 😉
