When I feel cranky, my first instinct is FOOD. Food has always been a comfort to me, which led to lots of weight gain and unhealthy habits.

As I lose weight and change my habits, those instincts are always there.

I’d love to kick my feet up, watch a movie and comfort myself with food right now 🍕🍫🍷...I debated it for about an hour, tried to justify it...then snapped myself out of it.

I want results right now and the only reason I’ve been getting results lately is because I’m staying on track and not allowing excuses to creep in. Takes so much effort to lose weight, yet so little effort to gain it all back. 
So, I am reminding myself of my goals and staying on track. This cranky mood will pass and I will be so thankful I didn’t allow it to ruin my progress! I deserve better. 
We control so little in life, but our nutrition is ALWAYS in our control 💪🏻 Anyone else have the same first instinct with food?
