Used a workshop photo from @sedwickstudio for this study. Not interested in still life; after several thousand paintings of crabs and beer bottles, it has lost all of its appeal. I still check every few months to see if I can turn out a decent one. NOTE: this is the piece upon which I broke the most recent knife. .
