A day with new human and polar friends:

Sure. I’ve seen images of polar bears so close, I knew what they had for lunch.
But then I woke up this day and saw these majestic creatures in their raw magical elemental home of sea ice and iceberg skyscrapers.
That sea ice trapped iceberg in the background is about a 45 minute ride by snowmobile as the crow flies. And the small part you see above ice is a 2-3 city block foot print and about 40-50 stories high. Without trees there’s no scale for this grand place.

Sometimes I wonder if it was real. Surreal.
