Mom made this Pet Memorial Bead using the ashes from my angel sister Missy.
It was an experiment for a customer that wanted a bead with a hole large enough to fit over his lanyard made from orange glass to match his dog’s collar. Typically every bird dog has an orange collar.
Mom had to order larger silver tubing and improvised using a large round file for a mandrel. She also had to use different tools to rivet the tubing on the bead as her equipment is made for much smaller tubing. Mom is now ready to make a bead for her customer using his bird dog’s ashes.
Missy’s bead turned out beautiful and now Dad will have a bead for his beloved bird dog.
