Recently I’ve been experimenting a lot in the kitchen and have found myself really enjoying cooking and baking - to me its almost like going for a walk in the sense that its just really therapeutic (and a lot of fun as well). My mum is obsessed with these creme caramel desserts that you can get from the supermarket and every time she gets them she eats them all in one sitting because they’re just so delish. For Mother’s Day I decided to make her some of my own that she could enjoy but with better ingredients and I was surprised at how nice they actually turned out! This photo here is just two of them sitting in their ramekins before we took them out and all the caramel oozed out from underneath. To make these I used almond milk, coconut sugar, a little bit of salt, coconut milk, rice malt syrup, cornflour and vanilla extract. So so happy with the end result ☺️
