First of all, why do we even use tissues that have to be thrown in the garbage? I never realized they weren’t compostable growing up, but doing more research into Nova Scotia’s recycling and garbage sorting made me rethink single-use tissues. Now we have these colourful (and imperfect 😜) handkerchiefs that are softer than other tissues AND we can throw them in the wash and reuse ‘em forever and ever. ✌🏻

Second of all, I loved having another sewing project after a long hiatus! These reusable tissues are simple to make because you really only sew the edges to prevent fraying. Even better, they don’t have to be perfectly square because who cares?!? Each one is made from the softest old t shirts I could find in our give-away pile! #perfectlyimperfect
