Here are two videos of recent 335lb squats by Nicole. The first video displays what happens when you keep the upper back tight and maintain a bar path over mid foot. The first video is a beautiful squat. The second video is the week prior and shows what happens when the upper back is slightly relaxed and the bar gets out over the mid foot. While she still makes the squat, the slight inefficiency costs her pounds on the bar. Her technique in the first video can be loaded down and progressed. Her technique in the second video will run its course and at some point she will be unable to get the bar back over midfoot and will fail forward. This just goes to show that not all PRs are more weight. Improving your technique at the same weight as Nicole has done here is a huge win.
