This is huge! Regularly we say we want a beautiful, loving, partnership yet don’t date that way. We have sex right away creating intimacy and connection without knowing them. We make up stories of who we want them to be rather than notice who they actually are. We tolerate behavior that is clearly unhealthy. We don’t ask for what we need hoping that they will just figure it out. And yet just hope it somehow will turn into a beautiful, healthy partnership. Raise your hand if you are guilty of this.
