Pancakes are beautiful things.
Implying they’re ‘unhealthy’ by unnecessarily messing with their ingredients does them a disservice!

Hey, I’ve been there. I’ve made the vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free (not a real thing btw) pancakes with chia seeds (😷) and they’re just not nice.
.
If you’re vegan - go make vegan pancakes.
If you’re coeliac - please use gf flour 😬.
But ‘healthifying’ pancakes implies that they’re unhealthy or bad or that you should feel guilty for eating them 😕. You absolutely should not feel guilty.

If you tell people they can only have pancakes if they’re ‘healthy’ that’s fucking bullshit. Don’t let someone have the power to take away your enjoyment of pancakes 😬.

Telling yourself “I can only have pancakes IF...
...I go to the gym
...I add protein powder
... I make them low-carb”
Or whatever, that’s still a restrictive food rule and it’s not a sign of a healthy relationship with food 🙅🏼‍♀️.

You deserve the freedom to eat pancakes and be happy 🥞😋. Go eat whatever pancakes work for you 👍🏻 ok.
