I had a chance today to check out and drive the all new BMW M340i thanks to @gavin_sank at Center BMW. Here are some first impressions:
- The power is very linear and you definitely feel the 60 HP increase over the 340i. - Suspension feels great. I would personally get the adaptive suspension option and eventually lower the car for an even better feel and look. I would also consider X-drive, as the rear end breaks loose very easily.
- The exhaust is loud and crackles and pops like crazy. A resonator delete and/or downpipe would absolutely work wonders.
- The interior is so much better and feels worlds more advanced than the F30’s. The tech on this car is incredible.
Overall pretty impressed with the new M340i. With the prices they’re going for now, I would definitely hold off on picking one up but for the right price, I think anyone would be pleased with this car.
