Rice ceremony - Transition to solids but what about the mums during this?

Our culture celebrates a lot of special moments. A popular Hindu custom is the rice ceremony, where the beginning of solid food to a baby’s life is being marked. A Pooja will be held for the baby’s health and happiness followed by the symbolic feeding of the first bite of solid food - rice.
But how do the mums feel during this stage of life? I personally have experienced some kind of “anxiety”. Letting go of something, which for others seem to be so normal. Not only at this time but also at the very first day, when Vayshra was born. I am sure that all mums feel some kind of emotions during different stages. Here are the ones, which I felt so far:

1. Giving birth: When Vayshra was born, we both were so happy for her to enter the world, which we have prepared for her. We’ve spent months imagining meeting our baby – now the wait was over. But on some point, I have noticed that I started to miss my baby bump. Here is why: During your pregnancy, you have kept your baby safe and protected. It was safely wrapped up in your tummy. After giving birth, lots changed..you will not always carry the baby around.. The first stage of letting baby growing up
2. Transition to solids: During breastfeeding, especially the first weeks of it, you have an intense baby bonding time. Out of all the hectics in your life, you get to have a moment of rest during feeding the baby.. Whether its just for comfort or to satisfy its hunger. When it came to the moment, where we decided to start with the solids ( it had to start at some point anyway), I got this queasy feeling.. Again, the fear that she may not need me that much anymore.. sooner or later, she will be replacing milk meals with food.. I know that it sounds weird, but even though these are normal development stages of a baby, it may be accompanied with some weird fear of letting go.. Have you experienced such strange things?
