Truth bomb💣
As I sit here at this table and reflect on my journey since I moved to FL, all I can think about is how damn PROUD I am of myself.
In the past 6 years I’ve moved 7 times within in 4 different cities (Tampa, West Palm, Boca + Orlando). In that time I worked with a handful of different companies + even worked in hospitality (for a hot minute).
Each time I had to START OVER. That means I had to relocate myself and my belongings, navigate new jobs, attempt to make new friends + most of all, swallow my pride.
Trust me, I had plenty of people doubt if I was going to make it through all this + assumed I would return back to my hometown in CT. They were SO wrong.
I could NEVER do that... You know why? Because I remembered what my goals were and why I was willing to go through all this in the first place...
To be in charge of my life- BOSS life that is. No one telling me where to be, what to do, and how much money I was going to make.
I’m living proof of that now. I overcame obstacles, mental hardships and external pressures that I know most wouldn’t have the courage or resilience to.
I did all of it alone and I learned a ton along the way. It’s really f*cking hard to go through things alone + totally not necessary.
Recently, I was introduced to a community of women who are now my business patterns, that went through similar things and who also want to be in charge of what happens to them in life. I’m SO incredibly grateful to have them by my side.
