Yesterday I was looking for an email from 2011. (Not important why... keep reading!) 👇🏻 I came across a list of goals that I sent to @MarieForleo while I was in her “Rich, Happy and Hot” mastermind. (Yes, that is really what she called it - gotta love a girl with sass. 💃 I stared at the goals. And then I stared at them some more. 😳 They were so simple, incredibly detailed, and beautifully formatted. (If you know me, then you know that proper spacing, bolding and bullets are my happy place). 📝 Here’s a little snapshot of my goals: ✔️ 1) Create a plan to start blogging WEEKLY and create a content strategy to make it stick. ✔️ 2) Stop working for a key client by X date. (This client was holding me back from launching my online course.) ✔️ 3) Grow my list to 10,000 by X date. (At the time I was stuck at 600.) ✔️ 4) Create a webinar for my online course and sell FIVE units by X date. 💥 Under each goal I had 5 action items to get me there. 🏆 >> I’ve always had BIG dreams of building a successful online business. But my dreams have always been rooted in small steps to get me there. Always. From day one.<< 🙋🏻‍♀️ Here’s what I want you to hear from me: I may have a multi-million dollar business today, but I started at the beginning, just like you. . I had to make the big leaps (let go of a well-known, high-paying client), I had to grow an email list that was stuck at 600 for over a year and I had to start from scratch on my first solo webinar. . I know how you feel right now. I know the overwhelm of getting started and not knowing if you are working on the right stuff. 🤞 I also know you can create a successful online business beyond your wildest dreams. 🙌🏻 Here’s my advice: Dream Big. Start Small.
