I had no idea what I was getting into. I was scared. Nervous. I wanted to quit before I even started. I still doubt myself sometimes even 2.5 years in, but I can’t ignore the opportunity that I now know exists. Time. And. Money. Rarely do people have both. And the opportunity to give that gift to other people, that I can’t ignore. It’s not the traditional route, but some of the most influential people took the road less travelled & did amazing things because of it. Would an extra $250-$1000 per month make a difference in your life? How about an extra $15,000/month? Almost too good to be true right? If you never try you’ll never know. And when the only risk is that other people might think you’re a little coocoo, is that enough to stop you? I got a $240 cash bonus because I showed up and put the work in. I am in charge of my paycheque. I’m in charge of my schedule. I want to travel, I want to have choices. I don’t want to worry about sick notes & not getting the vacation days I asked for. I don’t want to be too stressed and tired to enjoy life outside work. I don’t want to feel stuck. I know to some I might sound out of my damn mind, and that’s ok, I would have thought that about me too. I’m grateful I decided to open my mind. I’m ten times the person I was before I started, and the people closest to me can vouch for that. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and cheered me on, even if you thought I was a little batshit. ✌🏼
