Amazing, colonial, fragant, colourful. México City offers a kaleidoscope of intense experiences: the modernity, the traditions, the warmth of her people, the tragedy of impunity, the promise of her youth and her hard working citizens. Founded on a lake in 1325 , the former Tenochtitlan, now Mexico Distrito federal is sinking in some parts at a speed of 7 cm per year. Bearing almost 22 million inhabitants, this city has the most populous metropolitan area in the western hemisphere. Having spent my teenie years here, I know that no one can ever finish discovering this jewel full of contrasting faces.
