To facilitate the development of their independent design research projects, students in ARCH 4010 Design Thinking Thesis Studio, led by JT Bachman, have been generating collages daily. In the studio, students explore their thesis topics using collage as a framework for exploration, ideation, and representation. An excerpt from the studio brief:⠀

"Students will leverage collage as a vehicle for exploration into their thesis topics. Through a cyclical process of research, observation, accumulation, iteration, and curation, students will refine and focus their thesis topic into a well-defined set of questions, and ultimately into a well-documented catalog of design responses. Over the course of the semester each student will develop their own unique graphic language that runs through all forms of documentation surrounding their project."⠀
