Unfortunately the start to endometriosis awareness month has seen me spend a few days in hospital with a super nasty flare up. This disease has been a part of my life since eventually being diagnosed after high school and frankly, it sucks. The impact having a chronic illness has had on both my professional and personal lives cannot be understated, but I am so fortunate to have had a constant stream of visitors bringing all the treats and all trying to put a smile on my face.
