This is a truly interesting story. The famous American director Francis Ford Coppola started to produce wine in Napa Valley in the 70s. After a few ups and downs, he became very successful too. So successful that his tranquil wine estate “Inglenook” suddenly became a tourist magnet, making Coppola almost go crazy! So, he decided to open Francis Ford Coppola Winery in the neighboring Sonoma Valley (a “Disneylike” wine estate for tourists with a movie memorabilia museum as well) and reserved one and only Inglenook Winery for himself and the visitors who are serious about wine.

Öyle ki, sakin ve güzel şaraphanesi Inglenook bir anda aşırı turist çekmeye başlayınca Coppola çılgına dönmüş! Bunun üzerine komşu Sonoma Vadisi’nde turistler için, Coppola filmlerinden objelerin sergilendiği bir müzesi de olan, Disneyvari bir şaraphane açmış. Böylece çok sevdiği Inglenook Şaraphanesi’ni kendine ve randevuyla ziyarete gelecek gerçek şarap tutkunlarına saklamış.
