Getting into the community and having a conversation with so many kids about being proactive when it comes to health has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. With a tool as simple as a picture book, we have so many different, wonderful, and inspiring talks about our families, our genes, our doctors, and our bodies. Learning to speak up about our health is a vital part to being proactive. It’s my sincerest hope that these kiddos feel empowered to talk about their family health history.
