Day 53. I Love You MOM. I wish I can #share my love with you every day I wish I can lavish you with my gratitude because I am beyond grateful for all you have done for me. I wish I had #millions to grant you every wish and whim. You never had whims mom, your wishes are always concrete and to help others. You always put others before what you want. I promise I will make this brief, but profound because I have ghosts that are frustrated with my count up to #365. 🤦🏽‍♀️ #Mom I love you. Thank you for saying yes and keeping me around. Thank you for every struggle you endured as a single mom and your fervor in providing and fighting for us. #Thankyou for not giving up and how you ignored the pain of the day to day. After many long days of work, there were the long walks to pick me up. I remember the poorly lit tunnel when you carried me back home in your tired arms. As we both age, I remember, how you came through the doors, dropped your purse and went straight to the kitchen to make dinner. I remember you preparing breakfast before going to work. You saved money, you built for old age, you went through learning how to tolerate the inconsideration of others and moved forward. You were strong and filled with vigor. You have fought your way to an age filled with experience, sweat and a complete honor to the title #Mother. Thank you for implanting #purpose. There are a lot of unsung heroes out there, but for me a lot of them are called #mother. #Jesus, #God are number one; and you are my hero mom, too. Who can be a mom? Not many! Thank you for your support in everything!! I mean in every step mom you were there like my concrete foundation and structure. I remember the day they said cancer and while I laughed you were crying. We have come so very far mom. The lights seem brighter now, but we got more to go, huh? God grant us the strength needed to endure life.
