Good morning ! I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday! I sure am. Last night was the new moon and Im feeling renewed from long hours of meditation from yesterday and even put in some yoga time this morning. Im feeling on top of the world lately and Im not sure why but Im going to savor every moment. In the past even when I was happy I didnt fully allow myself to enjoy it because I was always waiting for the fall. Its taken a lot of determination, self discipline and trial and error to make both the bitter and the sweet work for me. I dont fall down and tap out when Im in the dark anymore. I have much respect for the dark times. I understand that its in the darkness that we shape and rebuild the best parts of ourselves. Its a place thats necessary to strip away what we think we know and find out who we really are and how to live in a way thats good for us by facing the truth about what doesnt work and has been bad for us. Each time we master our dark we are rewarded with the light .... all along the secret to living a happy life is found in a box in the dark. We cant evolve without them both and lots of people are stuck and unhappy because they fear the dark too much. When we close our eyes to sleep there is darkness but there is also the comfort of rest. When you are in the dark if possible focus all your energy on the rest that can be found there. We can be sad without putting ourselves down and giving up. Just rest and allow the lesson in the dark to explain why some things had to end and why some things had to hurt. When we dont resist we can understand and when we understand the light will shine again and the dark will fall away.....
