โ๐ป days until the CrossFit Open ๐
CrossFit will release 5 workouts over the next 5 weeks starting with 19.1. Athletes all over the world will complete the workouts and submit their scores.
The Open is a great opportunity to come together as a community, test your fitness, challenge yourself, get outside of your comfort zone and try something new. Last year was my first Open and I learned how to do handstand push-ups, PRโd my clean, and realized that my double unders were a huge area of my fitness that I could improve upon. I also bonded with so many members in the community as we supported and pushed each other. I am so excited to go into the 2019 Open after a year of working on my double unders and turning them into not only a strength but one of my favorite movements. I canโt wait to see how my fitness has improved and bring the community together around the sport that I love. The best part is that the workouts are scalable to all levels. Itโs not about competing against other athletes, itโs about competing against yourself and seeing where your fitness is at and using that as a platform to grow for next year. 19.1 lets gooooo!
