Happy Valentines Day!! These are the beautiful roses I woke up to this morning, I love that my hubby bought me this color of roses instead of red, we had this color of purple roses at our wedding 17 years ago. ▪️
So often on social media we are seeing the best parts of people’s lives, homes, trips, hair, make-up etc... I think it is really crucial to remember that we are only seeing what people allow or want us to see of their lives. Everyone has struggles even if they don’t share them openly and no one has a “perfect life”. ▪️
My husband and I have had gigantic challenges in our marriage. Many marriages have sadly not survived the kind of trials we have faced. There have been times where I was unsure if we would stay married. That is really hard to share because I love my husband very much and in so many ways we have a really great marriage. But the truth is our marriage has been through some really intense struggles. ▪️
Today I am so grateful for the gift of Love. It is powerful. Love bonds us together and can get us through things that feel pretty impossible.

I know that today can be especially hard on some people. Depending on your circumstances you might feel extra lonely today, or sad, or losses you have experienced in relationships or life might feel extra sensitive. Today I hope you can remember to show your self lots of love. If you don’t have someone to buy you flowers today and you wish you did, you could buy them for yourself, shower yourself with love, because you are 100% worth it!!!
