“God never gives you a dream that matches your budget. He’s not checking your bank account, He’s checking your faith.” This quote really caught my attention as I scrolled through Pinterest. It actually kind of slapped me across the face and forced me to check myself.
I immediately realized that I’ve been giving myself too many excuses not to keep on moving forward towards my dream of one day (in 5 years) opening my own amazing animal shelter and having a great team to rescue those animals in need all around the country and even the world.
These past couple of weeks have been TOUGH for me both mentally and emotionally. Because of certain circumstances I’ve kept asking myself: ❓”Am I good enough for this?”
❓”Do I even have the potential?”
❓”Will I ever overcome all of this?”
So on and so forth.
And the answer is, YES. One thousand times. And if you, reading this, have been asking yourself the same, or similar questions, the answer is also YES!
God has put so many things in my heart for this year. So many dreams and aspirations for making a positive impact in the world around me. It’s as if He’s trying to drag me out of my comfort zone, constantly reminding me
❗️’You CAN do this!’
❗️’You DO have the potential!’
❗️’You WILL OVERCOME!’ And He’s reminding YOU the same as well!
So no. God doesn’t care how much you have in your pockets. And neither should you. He doesn’t let the amount of what you have now, stop Him from reminding you of the BIG things you can achieve, and you shouldn’t let that stop you either!
It sure as hell won’t be easy. So many entrepreneurs and people who have achieved their dreams never even reached their goals until years later. But remember, nothing worth having in life just happens over night.
So if you’ve read this far, awesome! Because I’d like to tell you (and myself) to keep going. Stop making excuses. Have faith in yourself and see what big things you can achieve instead of focusing on the circumstances that may be telling you otherwise. After all, that’s what faith is, believing without seeing it now in the present.
