✅to follow up on my post about building your abs, here is a guideline to follow when your ready to start dieting down. .

✅when in a caloric deficit make sure it’s coming from mostly some sort of activity.  It doesn’t mean cut 500 calories from your diet.  It means cut maybe 200 from your diet and burn the rest with some sort of cardio or exercise.  Many people confuse this and end up losing muscle. .
.
✅which is my next rule.  Focus on strength training, heavy strength training.  Do not change your routine in the gym.  It’s not the hypertrophy work that torches calories, it’s the heavy strength work that requires those calories to be used. .
.
✅to add to strength training, yes it’s the compound lifts to focus on. .
.
✅can we put this to rest already?  Carbs don’t get you fat, too many calories gets you fat.  Make carbs your best friend because they are.  When your getting lean, it’s the carbs that are going to make those muscles rip through your skin. .
