When you don’t take time for play + rest, you’ll be STRESSED 😩
▪️Stress increases cortisol levels.
▪️Cortisol increases sensitivity to pain.
▪️Pain suppresses mood + energy levels.
▪️Increased cortisol also contributes to midsection belly bulge. 😬
Take days of rest.
Your body needs it.
One of the healthiest things you can do is knowing your personal limits.
Self awareness is key 🔑 to knowing when it’s necessary rest + rejuvenate, and when it’s the proper time to give yourself the push you need to grow.
