Al-ʾImām Ibn Baṭṭah al-ʿUkbarī رحمه الله said:

"And the people in this our time are flocks just like a bird following one another. If a one who claims an-Nubuwwah (the Prophethood) were to appear to them – along with their knowledge of that Rasūlullāh ﷺ is the seal of the ʾAnbiyāʾ – or a one who claims ar-Rubūbiyyah (the Lordship); upon that he would find followers and disciples."

How about now after a thousand years, what would he say? Allāh al-mustaʿān.
