So undeniably excited to be making progress (even if just behind the scenes) FINALLY on this thing.
I haven’t really gone into detail what the new setup will be. So here goes.
The stock 6.2 block will be studded and pinned by @jakelmosher. Internally, a wet sump LT4 forged crank, Oliver I-beam rods and @diamondpistons 10.7:1 slugs spec’d by @trailerpark_jesus. A @cammotioncams Gen V LT turbo cam 227/233-15+4.5 will replace my old Comp unit. This year we’ll be adding way more fueling by adding the @holleyperformance LT high-rise with a set of stock LS3 (for now) injectors controlled by @megasquirtracing MS-3 on top of the already replaced Corvette Z06 direct injectors. Finally, we’ve replaced my old @borgwarnerperformance 74/83 1.10 A/R with a new @borgwarnerperformance 76/96 1.10 A/R with a billet wheel. Of course all of this couldn’t have been sorted without my dear friend Kevin at @cartuningperformance who has been a huge staple in this truck since day one.
This is already my favourite iteration of the truck and it isn’t even together yet. I truly can’t wait to hear this thing come alive again.
