There are few things that compare to the ocean in Winter. She is powerful and unyielding, evoking awe and sometimes fear. Yet as strong as she is, she is vulnerable to the threats of humankind. Every year we dump more trash into her beautiful blue water and every year more creatures are added to the endangered and extinct lists. She’s not too powerful to fail, and we will go down with her.
