Hi! I’m Mari, the mama behind Petite Crown. . Did you know that nearly 1 in 3 families in the US experience difficulty in affording diapers and have to choose between diapers and other necessities such as food? My goal for this company is to lend a hand in solving the diaper need. When you purchase a product from us, we donate a cloth diaper to a family in need. Fluff and Beyond - Beyond your fluffy stash, you will be gifting the same excitement and happiness that you get when you receive a fluff mail to a family in need. (and the diaper!) . It has been almost a year since I began this journey of starting a cloth diaper company. There have been lots of ups and downs (and we haven’t even launched yet!), but this mission is what has kept me going strong. . During my first year in college, I took all my savings from my part time jobs and visited an orphanage in India to volunteer there for 3 months. Seeing first hand how difficult it is to not have the very basic necessity to care for a child, and not being able to personally provide anything but temporary help have left me feeling powerless and frustrated. This has been on the back of my mind ever since, until I had my first child and started cloth diapering. . Through the journey of learning how to cloth diaper, I have also learned that just here in this very country, families are experiencing the same difficulty I witnessed at the orphanage years ago. I wanted to help. And I thought about how I could help in a sustainable way - the solution was to start my own diaper company. (Being able to design my own diapers was just a huge bonus😉) So here we are, almost ready to start helping all parents create less waste in the most adorable way imaginable, while bringing smiles to our customers and beyond❤️ .
