The new Modern Craftsman 7-1/2” base (KB256) used as the base of the pilaster in this custom built mantel on a new construction modern farmhouse project in Bergen County, NJ. That strong 1/4” dado is just as deep, a feature we were able to incorporate as we mill this entire collection from poplar. The shadow lines are strong and deliberate.
