In part 1 of 2 of the simulation hypothesis posts, I will overview the hypothesis and get into the logistics. The simulation hypothesis/theory simply states our universe is in a simulation, however the logistics and paradoxes are much more complex. The key term is: PERCEPTION.. Everything we know is merely our personal perception.

Though it seems a sci fi concept, simulation is a completely viable theory, as certain scientists claim that our existence is overly convenient. Also, 81% of my followers think this to be the case as well, therefore the concept is more than open for discussion, it needs to be seen as a possibility. With that out of the way, the existence of a simulating god for our species is reliant on a total of five things being true. Note that these conditions are derived from Kurzgesagt, and they claim to take these conditions, “With a grain of salt.” However, I researched them, and found them to be acceptable limitations. #1: It is possible to simulate consciousness. While it is argued that consciousness is too raw of a concept, and that it is far too natural to just be programmed, the counter argument usually states that consciousness is an unknown concept, and due to the fact that our universe’s laws may be different from that of our Simulation god’s universe, then applying our laws and PERCEPTION doesn’t just work.
