Holidays are magical times when your children are little. Are we deceiving them? Absolutely! Is it wrong? Debatable! Why? To see our human power to create magic in the eyes of our little guys!!! Elf on the Shelf, well last year he barely moved. We would forget, throw him into corners and practiced the “not it” each morning when Guard (our elf) had to move. This year I challenged myself to be my best elfmaster! I was determined, I plotted, I planned. I was committed to making magic happen every day in my home for 25 days! (Yes, we waited until December 1st). My son, watched a Netflix original Christmas movie “The Advent Calendar”. It was all the cheesy goodness of a Hallmark movie and featured the most amazing advent calendar! I found one I had to have at Michaels but of course, I didn’t want to pay the price. I procrastinated and then on the last Wednesday before December, they released GOLD: a coupon 40% off including sale items! But as fate would have it, all the stores in my area were sold out. Luckily my hubby goes along with my crazy and found it, 30 miles away! That’s love!
