The physical practice of yoga gives you an opportunity to slowly become more comfortable with being uncomfortable, and I’ve learnt that purely through breathing. There is so much power in your breath. If you recognise where your tension is and breathe into it, then you will slowly feel your body lift it. But remember being a little uncomfortable and being in pain are two different things, so pay attention to your body, be kind to it, don’t rush anything and most definitely don’t force anything.
