Lize (49), 7th floor, de Akker
De Akker is a ten-story building in a somewhat tough neighborhood in Arnhem and home to all different kinds of people.

The 7th floor was supposed to be home to people with an addiction and mental health issues.
But the housing association decided that they are “too challenging”. So Lize soon has to find a new place to live.
She still has no idea where to go. Before she moved to de Akker she was homeless.

When we entered Lize´s room we saw a red dress on the wall. When we asked what the story of that red dress was she burst into tears. “I was so happy when I found this dress for 5 euros. But I can’t wear it because men think they can do whatever they want if I do. It’s so unfair. Why can’t I just wear what I find beautiful?”.
.
For the picture she wanted to be unrecognizable but beautiful. So she decided to wear the dress.
