Pale blue sky that melts into the sea.. soft tan sand that’s gets stuck to everything.. there’s no place that feels more like coming home to me. I looked around my bathroom this morning while brushing my teeth and noticed just how much plastic houses all the beauty concoctions we think we need. Shampoo, lotions, toothpaste and more. It’s crazy we know better but keep polluting the ocean with more.. The same way we wreck our planet with the culture we’ve created. The same way we wreck our bodies with the things we can’t resist... Its hard to think about, that’s why we don’t indulge conversations about melting icecaps and global warming, diabetes and heart disease, veganism, minimalism and zero waste... But it’s all connected, the alternatives are available! The solutions aren’t hard to find in the modern age.. google it! We can make our own products, eat plant based and consume less harmful products. The solution looks like suggestions but it’s more than that. It’s mama earths cry for help, who’s listening?
