This past weekend a friend and fellow AMFT said that her and her husband don’t exchange Christmas or (dating) anniversary presents. Rather, they plan a trip/experience to spend together! ⠀⠀
We can all buy the things we need, and save up for the things we want. 📱 💻 But giving our time 🕰 and traveling somewhere old or new expands our perspectives of the world and each other. 🌎 ⠀⠀
And research shows that traveling ✈️ together makes couples’ bond stronger with a greater sense of well-being! ⠀⠀
