Flashback Friday #fbf in my Kelly green dress👗. I do wear more than just black! 😊 . . I’m not the typical insurance woman. Yes, I sell life, health and annuities but I am also into wellness; encouraging women to invest in themselves with self love, making sure they are taking care of mind, soul and body by investing in themselves mentally, physically , financially & spiritually to name a few dimensions of wellness. Keeping it real, financially I am not where I want to be but thank God I am not where I use to be but I have goals! . . ONE DAY AT A TIME. That’s what it takes, living in the moment of now. It ALL begins in the mind. MINDSET. Change your mind, change your lifestyle is real talk and that’s how I have been able to trim down 100 pounds over a few years. Wellness is a process! What blew my mind, blew up in my body. Stress is 🚫 good 🙅🏾‍♀️it effects your whole health! How we deal mentally is the key to our health & wellness. . . I started in the healthcare industry in 1999 as a provider service representative to physicians & (Blue Cross), shifting to a smaller company providing service to members, agents & an employer group over a period of ten years. In 2015, I became a licensed agent to start independently but that was put on hold as I became a caregiver for my mom, selling coverage solely through referrals only. As I shift back into the business independently offer benefit consultant services through Your Benefitter LLC as I work back with my former company because I have some financial wellness goals (debt free) that I am working on in becoming financially fit! It’s all about wellness! Cause how we gonna win if we ain’t right within? Money can’t buy wellness. . Authentically Maria so don’t expect to see me post standing on a yacht eating caviar 🤷🏾‍♀️ My presence is not for likes nor is it in my budget for 2019. I hope to encourage & be an instrument of change, especially as I incorporate health & wellness as a holistic health coach to my business. I have benefitted personally from health & wellness. It’s my passion. If I touch one ☝🏾 than my purpose to go, do & be of service is being fulfilled through Your Benefitter LLC.
